From Vienna to Paris: A Collection of My Favorite Travel Photos in Europe

My girlfriend and I recently traveled to Europe for a conference as well as a vacation. We had a great time walking and exploring each of the cities that we visited. In this post, I am sharing my favorite photos captured in each city. These images serve as a visual journal of our memorable trip.

Vienna, Austria

Vienna was the main destination of our trip.

It is a beautiful city. Walking through its old town, I can sense the history of wealth, art, and culture. There are numerous cultural landmarks, iconic cathedrals, museums, and public squares. Getting on the tower of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, I was treated to breathtaking views of the city.

Schönbrunn Palace is a magnificent Baroque palace in Vienna. It was built as the summer residence of the Habsburgs in the 18th century. The palace grounds feature an expansive garden with intricate statues, fountains, and a hill. As I walked up the hill, the old town of Vienna came into view. It was truly beautiful panorama.

Munich, Germany

Munich was the first city we visited on our trip. While it doesn’t seem as iconic as the other cities for sightseeing, Munich still has its own memorable spots scattered throughout its historic town. When I was editing my photos, I found that the warm, vivid color palette uniquely suited this city.

The Munich Residence and the Deutsches Museum are two of my favorite places in Munich.

Rome, Italy

My time in Rome exceeded my expectation. The city is like a living, breathing testament to its rich history, with ancient wonders seamlessly intertwined with modern life. Walking down its streets, I encountered countless architectural marvels from the Roman Empire, coexisting harmoniously with the city's modern elements.

The most iconic spots, such as the Colosseum, Pantheon, and St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican city, were incredibly impressive and unique. I am deeply grateful that these remarkable structures have survived through history and continue to stand there for us to see.

Paris, France

We stayed in Paris for a brief period of time and indulge ourselves in delicious cuisine and the Lourve museum. The first two photos of the Eiffel Tower are my favorites. It was a great experience walking along the Seine river, watching the sunset and waiting for the tower to be illuminated with a warm, golden glow.
